Experience 34 Ranch Campground, a 900+acre horseman's campground surrounded by some of the
most beautiful scenery in the Midwestern United States. We have easy access,
even for the largest rigs, with no steep hills or tight quarters in the
campground. We don’t believe in crowding people in. Located in the heart of Southern Illinois, you will visit one of
the most ecologically diverse area in the United
States.
Tantalize your senses with the breathtaking views from rock overlooks,
traverse trails along the bottom & top of rock cliffs, through open
valleys and meadows, ford creeks intertwined throughout the forest. Wild flowers are abundant, and range
from prickly pear cactus and yuccas to bluebells and wild orchids. Rock
formations tower as shear rock cliffs or appear honeycombed and as unique
shapes formed by minerals eroded from wind and water.
There are riding
experiences for all levels of riders.
With close to 200 sites, many are along the tree-lined rocky creek or shaded
hillside. The campground has
modern camping facilities which include graveled sites with electrical and
water hook-ups, modern restrooms and shower house, show arena, dance barn,
and other amenities. New tethering posts have been installed and a 12 stall
barn has been completed, and another will be done before fall, for those of
you who like to keep your horses "under roof."
